Going Virtual

For the foreseeable future, the Free Range Ukulele Society of Oak Park (FRUSOP) Meetup^† will not be meeting. However, that does not mean we will be twiddling our thumbs until meetups resume. After all, it's impossible to play ukulele while doing that. Our purpose is to bring together people who love to play—or want to learn to play—the ukulele, to sing, and to have fun. Here is how we're going to try and do that.

We will continue to announce the week's song-sheet packet(s) as if we were going to meet, with a slight change in policy. Now you will find a direct link to the packet even if you are not a member of Meetup.com. We will return to the original policy when meetups resume.

Print the packets, and play the songs. Or put the packets on your computer or tablet, and play the songs. Please do not publish the link to the packets, or republish them. We're trying to be very careful about sharing music because, even though we are not making money doing this, sites have been shut down for putting up music. Please understand and act accordingly.

We are totally open to ideas! Anything to keep FRUSOP alive and interesting. Send them to Chris & Alvin.
